All-in-One Control Solution with Space-Saving Design

Easy to install and simple to operate, Tripp Lite's B021-000-19 Rackmount Console is the smart solution for controlling a computer, server or KVM switch in IT applications where rack space is at a premium.

The B021-000-19 combines a full keyboard, numeric keypad, touchpad and 19-in. color LCD in a 1U rack drawer for compact storage and easy access. No server-resident software is required, so server performance and reliability are never compromised. The B021-000-19 is also compatible with most PS/2 and USB KVM switches, making it easy to integrate with an existing system.

The B021-000-19 can be mounted in racks with depths ranging from 27 to 42 inches (rackmounting hardware included). The console is housed in an all-metal 1U sliding drawer. Simply pull it out and flip up the screen when needed, and store it back in the rack when finished. This keeps the keyboard and screen from blocking access to rack equipment when the console is not in use.

Supports Multiple Platforms and High-Resolution LCD

The B021-000-19 supports both PS/2 and USB connections (USB to PS/2 adapter cable included). Because compatibility is based on common hardware standards rather than system software dependencies, almost any platform can be accommodated, including UNIX, Linux, Windows, Mac OS, Solaris and more. The B021-000-19 is also compatible with most KVMs that are equipped with PS/2 and USB console ports. This enables the B021-000-19 to be integrated into an existing system, providing enhanced management capabilities without a major investment in new hardware.

The B021-000-19's 19-in. LCD screen supports video resolutions of up to 1366 x 768. DDC, DDC2 and DDC2B emulation allows the video settings of the connected computer to be automatically adjusted for optimal display on the console monitor.

USB Pass-Through Port

The included KVM cable kit allows for connection to a PS/2 computer or KVM, and a PS/2 to USB adapter is included, which can be used to connect to a USB computer or KVM. The unit features a USB 2.0 pass-through port for connection of a USB peripheral, such as a flash drive, CAC card reader, etc.. Your peripheral device connects to the USB type A port on the front of the unit, and your computer connects to the USB type A port on the back of the unit using a Tripp Lite UR020-Series type A M/M cable.
