Asset tags are small, battery-powered wireless devices which utilize standard Wi-Fi networks to track high-value assets in real time, in any environment - from indoor locations such as hospitals and manufacturing floors to open outdoor locations such as parking lots and shipping yards. They send out a signal indicating the tag's presence allowing the tags to be used for a variety of applications varying from tracking the location of an asset used in your fleet to obtaining vital information from an employee currently on site. The asset tags are used in conjunction with MG devices and the AMM to provide up-to-the-minute reporting of location, temperature, and/or other configurable statistics.
