Tested to 100 MHz, Berk-Tek's Hyper Plus 5e Standard Category 5e UTP cables are designed for horizontal applications in a structured cabling network to connect between the user outlet and horizontal cross-connect.
Berk-Tek Hyper Plus 5E (0.52 mm, 24 AWG) is constructed of bare copper wire insulated with polyethylene (non-plenum) or insulated with FEP (plenum). Two insulated conductors twisted together form a pair and four such pairs laid up form the basic unit jacketed with flame-retardant PVC.
This cable comes in a Tek-Pak box. Tek-Pak boxes feature a diamond shape payout hole and superior coil design for easy, tangle and snag-free payout. These boxes also maximize the electrical cable performance. The coordinated color scheme and improved graphics make the cable type and flame rating easy to recognize.
