GSA 2nd Generation Information Technology (2GIT) Blanket Purchase Agreement

 

Contract Summary

The contract vehicle covers the purchase of commercial off-the-shelf IT hardware, software, and related services. The 2GIT Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) were competitively awarded by GSA, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 8.405-3, to provide ordering activities with 2GIT offerings at discounted prices. The 2GIT solution is a reliable, flexible, fast, and efficient way to obtain best-value solutions for complex IT hardware requirements. GSA developed the 2GIT solution over a two-year collaboration with the U.S. Air Force (USAF) and it will extend the benefits of a best-in-class IT purchasing solution to the federal government.
Eligible Users
2GIT is open to all federal, state, local, regional, and tribal governments.

In-Scope Products and Services
The 2GIT BPAs provide the following categories of products and associated services worldwide: networking equipment, servers/storage/peripherals/multimedia, identity management/biometric hardware, end user devices, and associated Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) software not included on other DoD or Federal Agency enterprise license agreements. The 2GIT BPAs provide a streamlined process for procuring IT hardware and software commodities, ancillary supplies and installation services.
